Upon arrival in Gondar, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, begin exploring central Gondar, including local markets, historic churches, and cultural sites. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Ethiopian dinner and a local cultural experience. Lunch and dinner are included, with overnight accommodation in Gondar.
After breakfast, visit the Fasil Ghebbi Royal Enclosure, a historic complex of castles, palaces, and royal buildings that reflects Gondar’s imperial history. Continue to Fasilides’ Bath, an important ceremonial site associated with the Timkat celebration. Later, visit Debre Berhan Selassie Church, renowned for its colorful religious paintings and iconic angel-covered ceiling.
